Last week, my Squad went to something called Month One Debrief. This is a time for us to reflect and talk about our first month on the field, a time to rest, and a time to have fun. We also get to see our Squad Coaches because they fly out to our debrief location, so that’s pretty great!

Enjoy the pictures from debrief!

Travel Day!

When your train breaks down in the middle of nowhere, what do you do?

Hang out of the door and take pictures of course!

Brasov

We got to stay in a beautiful city called Brasov! So many places to take pictures and so fun to explore!

Hostel Pets

The hostel we stayed at had pets! After not getting to spend time with a dog or cat for a month now, it was just what I needed. Let me introduce you to Judy the cat and Daisy and Yaki the Yorkshire Terriers!

Adventure Day

On the last day of debrief we got a day to just explore. You can hike the mountain that has the Brasov sign on top so a few of us decided to wake up at 5:30 am and hike it to see sunrise. Thinking about it now, hiking in the pitch black probably wasn’t the smartest idea, but we stayed safe and man oh man it was WORTH IT!

Then I went to visit the narrowest street in Europe, crazy to think they actually used it as a road.

Last, but certainly not least, for some reason I agreed… to hike the mountain again. That’s right I hiked a total of around 10 miles that day, but it was so cool to see sunrise and sunset on the same mountain top!

(The moon at 5:30 am)

(An overlook of the city as we stood next to the Brasov sign. So beautiful to see all the lights and the moon before sunrise!)

(Sun rising through the trees.)

(The amazing people who were crazy enough to hike in the pitch black, cold weather at 6 am)

(The city was stunning from the top!)

(The view at sunset was just as beautiful!)

(Sharing this picture because this was the moon at 9 pm. It was the first thing I saw when I woke up and the last thing I saw before going to bed!)

Bonus Picture!

Here are our adorable Team Leaders.

Posting because they are some of the smartest, funniest, God-fearing people I have ever met and I love them!

Not pictured: eating way too many fries, eating wayyy too much gelato, laughing till we cried (some people may or may not have peed their pants), and a pretty great dance party!

Thats all!!

Hope you enjoyed seeing some pictures!!

Love you all!
