Hey friends, family, and anyone else reading this,

Welcome to my blog!

Let me introduce myself

I’m Sumer, I’m 21 years old and I currently live in Guatemala!

I love animals, I love me some good food, most days you can catch me going on random adventures with my friends, I love road trips, and good music is a must for any situation.

That is just a little bit about me.

I went on World Race Gap year in 2019. Gap Year took me to Romania for three months, Guatemala for three months, and Ecuador for two weeks. I got pulled off of the field in mid March due to COVID. 

While on the race God asked me to commit my life to long term missions, to say yes to telling people about His name for the rest of my life. That was single handedly the hardest and easiest yes I have every made in my life. 

The Lord called me back to Guatemala in January of 2021 to join a program through Adventures in Missions called Hineni. I am currently being trained and equipped to go long term as a missionary wherever the Lord calls me. 

How crazy is it that I get to live life with my best friend, Jesus. 

God is so good and so faithful. I would not be here without Him.
