Dear X Squad,

I’m gonna be honest, starting in Romania I wasn’t too fond of living with 28 other people, that being said it didn’t take long for me to love you guys. 

This last season has been amazingly weird. 

Weird in the way that I never thought I could survive living 7 months with people I barely knew and amazing in the way that it ended up being incredible and I feel so blessed to have gotten to live with you for those 7 months. 

I would not have wanted to spend this season with any other group of people.

I know our race didn’t end they way any of us expected, but I’m so proud of us. 

Yes, there was some sadness about going home, but we didn’t let that take over. We chose to go home full of joy and ready to share what we learned with the people around us. 

I’m sure there’s things that we will miss about the race whether that be the people, the community, the places, or the different cultures, but I encourage y’all to keep looking for those things while you are home and wherever you go in this next season.

Thank you guys for being my family the last 7 months. 

We laughed together, we adventured together, we worshipped together, we grew together, and so much more. I miss having you guys next to me in person, but I want you to know you made those 7 months the most memorable of my life. 

All of you hold so much power and authority, it’s crazy. I pray you continue to speak life over yourself and over other people, I pray you continue to look for God in everything and continue to ask him what he says about the people around you, I pray that you walk in the truth that he speaks over you, and I pray that you continue to be bold and do things that make you uncomfortable.

God is going to do some amazing things in each and every one of you and I pray that you sit in expectation with open hands ready for what he has.

I feel so lucky that I got to spend this season with you guys.
