Why would I want to leave home for 9 months?

Why would I want to leave my family, my friends, my normal everyday schedule?

Why would I want to spend 9 months completely out of my comfort zone and living only out of 2 backpacks?

Well if I knew the full answer to that I would tell you, but honestly, I don’t.

The main answer and really the only one you need to know is that deciding to go on the World Race wasn’t a split second decision. It wasn’t a decision I made in a few days or even a few weeks. This was a decision that took a lot of time and prayer and trusting God that this is what I’m supposed to be doing right now. I can’t tell you what the World Race is going to bring or what is going to happen when I’m on it. I can even say that I’m going to be extremely out of my comfort zone doing this, but I know that this is what I’m supposed to be doing.
